Whenever I type, the keyboard layout is different than the US keyboard layout. I'm new to linx, so how do I fix this?

you can do so from raspi-config This article refers to Raspian, but it would be the same on this distribution: https://raspberrytips.com/keyboard-layout-on-raspberry-pi/
