Hey, thanks for making this addon!
I was going to try using bukubrow to ingest my 5000 and counting tabs, but it seems to remain unwieldy.
Note, I'm not familiar with the buku cli tool yet.

Some observations:

  • I cant seem to search while there are entries in the staging area
  • There's no way to clear the staging area, I have to remove entries by individually clicking the trash icon. You just can't see the buttons unless you scroll all the way down.
  • the bukubrow context menu only shows up when right clicking in the addon popup?
  • I cant stage multi-selected tabs in the tab bar (only whole windows via the above mentioned menu) (can be worked around by moving things you want to stage to a new window..staging area for the staging area.)
  • I can't mass add tags to every entry in a staging set
  • I can't select multiple bookmarks or intervals of bookmarks for deletion
  • There are no screenshots in the project for what to expect
  • Staging area does not show as containing content until closing/reopening extension popup
  • buku for some strange reason doesn't add date metadata (Add Date Information / Make Tag date more accurate jarun/buku#304 , ToDo list jarun/buku#343 (comment)), so I cant work around things by just filter by date added and do post-processing on that (though maybe I can just look at sequential indexes but you don't know where it starts unless you know the starting tab)

First things first - why do you have 5000 open tabs? I can't imagine this is a terribly common use case.

Also there's an issue for screenshots here I just haven't gotten around to yet.

Apparently it's more common than one would think, and precisely the case in which better tooling would be helpful :(

I'm still curious why, even beyond the scope of this ticket. 😛
