After being logged in for a while, the auth seems to expire and causes silent errors.

@pandanautinspace Any update on this issue? Thanks!

For additional context, I experience this when -

  • Attempting to add a new text. The process appears to work (no visible errors), but the text never shows up in the list.
  • Creating a new investigation. I create the investigation, but it doesn't appear in the list. Then I try to create it again, but get a message that it already exists. Yet I still can't see it.

In both the cases above, the resolution ultimately was that I reloaded the page and was prompted to log in again. Yet there was no visible indication as I was working that I was not authenticated before.

The issues you described @bhartmoore should be resolved (they seem to actually be caching issues). There is an auth timeout issue as well. For now, the fix is to force the user to re-log-in. We can explore getting the token refresh to work properly. I think there's an incorrect setting somewhere in the google console.
