The icon on our current Share button is found on many media sites representing the ability to forward content. At the top of this chocolate chip cookie recipe, the banner about social media shares has the icon:

Here on bloggersgoto.com:

clicking the icon gives the option to 'share' the snippet by URL:

What we are trying to do in our 'Share' dialog is to invite others to collaborate on a Language Forge project and to manage their roles. Let's consider replacing the current text and icon with something like "Collaborate" and an icon like,

Good thoughts! "Share" is definitely a bit ambiguous, but it does seem to be the common term for adding/managing collaborators. E.g. on Google Docs and Microsoft Office:

However, neither of them use the "standard" share icon. 🤔
I like your icon suggestions the best.

Oh interesting - I see that in Google docs, they show the 'lock' icon with share if it hasn't been shared to anyone yet, and they show this two-user icon if it has been shared already:

That's a nuanced, possibly more informative approach, but I think just the two-user icon could also be ok

The LF Share dialog was modeled after Google docs back in 2019. GDocs changed their dialog since then, but it still has the "Share" button. I am in favor of just changing the icon but keeping the word Share as opposed to Collaborate which is kind of long for a button. I like the icon change to a lock, however that could cause issues on mobile where we don't show the word Share at all.
