feeding level jumps up to 1 after running project

Why does the feeding level change after running project in thermizer? After setting up a thermizer param object and running to steady state I can use plot() to look at feeding level - ot's around 0.5. After running the sim with project() and then plotting the sim using plot() it jumps to 1.0. Why is this? Should it be rescaled?

This doesn't happen to me. Can you share code and/or forcing data to allow replication of the problem?
