Formulations to improve solving speed & reduce model size

Related issues:

Unit commitment, ramps & reserves

Storage

  • Implement tight formulation for storage & reserves (minimum reserve activation time constraint for storage)

Levels of Detail

  • Implement different levels of detail for unit commitment
  • Implement different levels of detail for gas flows (lower priority)
  • Reduce number of variables (if there is no UC, no need for online variables)

Demand Response

  • Add demand response to load profiles
  • Add demand response from EVs
