We are a group of Masters & PhD students at Columbia University who worked diligently to curate The Met Art Data for this website.

**Jennifer** is a MS Biostatistics student at Columbia University from Buffalo, NY. She loves the cold Buffalo weather (she thinks...), playing tennis, and singing. She would like to learn the violin. Jennifer is passionate about research and data to improve health. In her free time she enjoys random NYC adventures and would love to ACTUALLY visit The Met .....one day, specifically the [Met's African Art Collection](https://www.metmuseum.org/about-the-met/collection-areas/african-art) .... hopefully using the maps in this project to explore after finals hehe :).

Andy currently works as a Research Assistant focusing on Sexual and Gender Minorities in the United States and Kenya. They are from Las Vegas, Nevada, so fine art runs directly counter to their upbringing. Andy has been to the Met exactly one time, and they were overwhelmed. That said, there were a few cool looking chairs.
