Trying to capture some thoughts about Action/Activity/Operation

Suggestion: Differentiate between "consume" type activities and "use" type activities based on the effect on the resource. Consumption implies the resource is gone (Eat), usage implies it is still there (View). Another distinction, usage could imply that nobody else could use it while you are (checking out a book from the library), and we would need a different term for when anyone can use it anytime (most electronic resources).
