Organization and mapping it to vcard: org: and foaf:

James recently removed from AS2.0 context prefix from all vcard: terms, making vcard:Organization just Organization in JSON-LD flattened with context intended as normative.

@fosterlynn and @ahdinosaur, I know that you chose org:Organization in Open App Ecosystem work. Did you take time by any chance to look at vcard:Organization?

@elf-pavlik @ahdinosaur I just went with the crowd on org:Organization. As you know, I didn't like the assumed focus on the corporate enterprise, and in particular the relationships. But I did like Organization and Person subclasses of Agent.

Interesting link, looks like lots of discussion has occurred. Without taking the time to review it all, I have no tie to org:Organization, would like to go with where the discussion leads.

i originally had preference for org:Organization because of the additional vocabulary for memberships, roles, and posts, but now that i have a possibly better idea for how to support these features, there's no longer a reason to prefer org:Organization, so vcard:Organization is fine by me.
