Unable to Edit Current users Rating

Hi,
I am using this gem, to rate channels.
I can see average rating and current user's rating on the view.
But here average rating is updatable, I can fix it to read only.
But issue is I am not able to update current_user's rating, its only showed to me, I am unable to update it.
Is there any way to fix this, then please guide me
