Currency, Gold, Metals, and Cryptocurrency Conversion Services Website

Description

This website is a financial tool for currency, precious metals, and bitcoin conversion. It uses exchange rates information delivered at real time to convert from metal to currency, currency to currency, and from currency to cryptocurrency. It uses as a currency converter the most commonly national, sub-national, and supra national currencies as well as the most used cryptocurrencies.

Usage

1.	The end-user can follow these steps as a guide to use the converter:
2.	Enter a value
3.	Select your metal or currency
4.	Proceed to select the currency or metal the value will be converted to
5.	Press the convert button
6.	Observe result in the Result area

The following list was compiled using commonly used currencies in todays market:

⁃	EUR - Euro - (Note: not all European countries belong to the European Union therefore if unsure use a national currency instead)
⁃	GBP - Pound Sterling 
⁃	MXN - Mexican Peso
⁃	JPY - Yen (Japan)

⁃	KRW - Won (Korea)

Terminology

Bitcoin

  • Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that can be transferred on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network. Bitcoin transactions are verified by network nodes through cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain.

Conversion Rate

  • A conversion rate is the ratio between two currencies, most commonly used in foreign exchange markets, which designates how much of one currency is needed to exchange for the equivalent value of another currency.

Cryptocurrency

  • A cryptocurrency, crypto-currency, or crypto is a digital currency designed to work as a medium of exchange through a computer network that is not reliant on any central authority, such as a government or bank, to uphold or maintain it.

Currency

  • A currency is a standardization of money in any form, in use or circulation as a medium of exchange, for example banknotes and coins. A more general definition is that a currency is a system of money in common use within a specific environment over time, especially for people in a nation state.

Exchange Rate

  • In finance, an exchange rate is the rate at which one currency will be exchanged for another currency.

Foreign Market Exchange

  • The foreign exchange market is a global decentralized or over-the-counter market for the trading of currencies. This market determines foreign exchange rates for every currency. It includes all aspects of buying, selling and exchanging currencies at current or determined prices.
