Components used in this project

Components Use no.
LCD Display the index of the CPR round and any warnings. 1
LEDs Warning and to indicate CPR Quality. 3
Buzzer Warning 1
DHT Measuring the humidity to check for water vapor as an indicator for breathing. 1
Pulse sensor To observe the heartbeat of the patient. 1
Ultrasonic sensor Measuring the depth of chest compression while doing CPR to protect the patient from damage to the thoracic cage. 1
Pressure sensor To measure the applied pressue (force) of the hand on chest. 1
Push button To count the number of CPR Rounds. 1

Features:

  1. Real-Time Rate Measurement: Monitors and displays the rate of chest compressions in real-time, ensuring it aligns with recommended guidelines.
  2. Depth Indicator: Displays the depth of chest compressions, guiding the rescuer to achieve optimal compression depth.
  3. Time Display: Shows the elapsed time since CPR initiation, helping rescuers manage time effectively during resuscitation efforts.
  4. Chest Recoil Indicator: Alerts the rescuer if there is insufficient chest recoil between compressions, promoting proper CPR technique.
  5. CPR Cycle Counter: Counts the number of complete CPR cycles performed, aiding in tracking progress and ensuring consistency in resuscitation efforts.
