Athena- Periods Alert App

A period tracking app with an added functionality to communicate with others also on period in the vicinity and ask for help.

• Period tracking functionality
• User signup / login
• Sending location to backend from the device when help button is pressed
• Checking distance between each phone when notification is recieved from backend and showing notification to user if ditance is less than the threshold.
• Chat mechanism
• User rating system

Instructions to run

• Pre-requisites:

  • Android Studio
  • Android SDK

• Directions to install:

  • Clone the project in android studio and run it.
  • Or if the apk is provided then download and install that on your phone.
