Nearshore_testing_codes_Sept2020

This release is not for general use (please use the master branch instead -- it should pass the full test suite and will be updated over time ). This release captures the code at the time of resubmission of the nearshore testing paper, and includes a few minor doc updates and a minor correction of one figure.
