A forum dedicated to video game enthusiasts. Allows users to post games played, including their review and rating of the game. Users can also comment on other user posts, and add friends to their network.
Game On! If you obsess over video games and can't stop talking about them, come join the Cross Platforum where you can discuss games you've played, write reviews and rate them. Interact with like-minded individuals by commenting on their game posts. Keep track of these new friends with an 'Add Friend' feature.
This project requires Node.js and other dependencies
Navigate to the directory you would like to use using the CLI and then clone this repository:
git clone [email protected]:Jefid/cross-platforum.gitCreate .gitignore to include the following:
node_modules
.DS_Store
package-lock.jsonOpen your IDE and use these commands to install all the necessary packages:
npm initnpm init will create your package.json file.
In the project directory, you can run:
Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.
The page will reload when you make changes.
You may also see any lint errors in the console.
Seeds the database with dummy data from "/seeders/seeds.js".
Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.
Builds the app for production using concurrently to launch client and server sides simultaneously.\
The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
