Alfred HEIC to JPG

Convert HEIC images to JPG format efficiently with the Alfred HEIC to JPG workflow. Utilizing ImageMagick, this workflow is designed for macOS users who need a quick and easy solution to convert their HEIC files into the more universally accepted JPG format. Whether you're dealing with a single photo or a batch of images, Alfred HEIC to JPG makes the conversion process simple and effective, with added compatibility for Apple Silicon Macs.

Requirements

  • Alfred with Powerpack license.
  • ImageMagick installed for image conversion processes.

Installation

  1. Install ImageMagick: ImageMagick is required for Alfred HEIC to JPG to function. Install it by running the following command in Terminal:

    brew install imagemagick
    
  2. Download and Install the Workflow: Download the latest release of Alfred HEIC to JPG from the Releases page. Double-click the workflow file to import it into Alfred.

Usage

  1. In Finder, select the HEIC files you want to convert.
  2. Activate Alfred's File Actions by selecting the files and using the File Action hotkey or searching for "File Actions" in Alfred.
  3. Choose the Convert HEIC to JPG action from the list.
  4. The selected files will be converted to JPG format and saved in the same location as the original files.
