How to make a request for help in the PC cure section?

Attention!

  • The instructions prepared by our specialists are written (compiled) individually for each user.
  • Do not follow instructions that are prepared for another user, as this can damage your operating system.
  • Do not take and ignore during treatment any recommendations received outside the treatment section, as well as in private messages.
  • Do not delete or move any files without the advice of the Helper (VIRUSNET association member).
  • Do not run utilities yourself without the advice of the Helper - this can lead to negative consequences, down to a loss of operability of the operating system and loss of user data!
  • If you suspect that your system is infected by malware and you need our help, then follow the instructions below:

Where to begin?

  • Register on GitHub;
  • Create a topic in the 'Issue' section;
  • Give a meaningful name to the subject, appropriate to the problem;
  • In your first communication, describe in detail the problem that has arisen;
  • Prepare the Logs (see below).
  • Attach the file(s) you received in preparation for the treatment to your message by clicking 'selecting item' hyperlink, located under the input window in the message editor.
  • Wait for the answer of the Helper, clearly follow all his instructions.

How to prepare logs?

  • Before starting the collection of logs, close (unload) all running programs and temporarily suspend the protection of your antivirus.
  • Visit "AutoLogger" resource page (automatic log collector) at SafeZone.cc and download it by pressing the orange button "Перейти к скачиванию" in the upper right corner:
  • Unpack the archive of the AutoLogger in any folder convenient for you.
  • After unpacking, you will have the file AutoLogger.exe, run it and follow the displayed recommendations.
  • Wait until the log collection is finished.
  • At the end of the work, you will find a new archive with logs, located inside AutoLogger's folder where the archive was unpacked. The archive has the name CollectionLog-yyyy.mm.dd-hh.mm. Where yyyy.mm.dd-hh.mm is the date and time the scan was started. For example: CollectionLog-2017.10.30-22.15
  • Attach it to your post by creating a new topic in the "Issue" section.

What do you need to know?

The Helper gave a recommendation. How can I follow it?

  1. All necessary utilities for treatment are located in "AutoLogger" folder

After the treatment, be sure to read the topic "Recommendations after removing malware" and try to follow the recommendations from this topic.

Attention!!!
