Overview

Presence is a modern solution for all your attendance tracking needs. It allows you to take attendance using emails and completely tracks your attendance data for the students as well as professors.

Features

1. Email Attendance - Attendance is taken using time-constrained links sent via Email which minimizes proxy attempts. The links are unique for each student and lecture and cannot be reused.

2. Attendance Metrics For Professor - Professor's can track all the attendance data of their students for a particular course using the dashboard.

3. Student Attendance - Students can also track their attendance for a particular course and see if they are above the course attendance criteria or not.

4. Course Creation - Users can start a new course whenever they like and send invitation links to students to join their course.

Tech Stack

Front End

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Bootstrap(SB Admin 2 Template)

Back End

  • NodeJS
  • MongoDB

Conclusion

Presence aims to make attendance tracking easy and remove the manual labour of taking and tracking attendance data for institutions as well as individuals. Attendance taking has been entirely automated in this app and all the data can be exported for external use and reference.

The app is responsive in design and works reliably. We hope to add more features in future if possible.
