Beta release 2 fix some unicode handling and remove JDK8 to support old devices

Removed Base64 from JDK8 and used apache one to support old Android devices. Also added code to handle unicode characters a little better. Feb 28 and March 1 Atlantic puzzle should work a little better

For those who want to try out LATimes and WaPo download from AmuseLabs, download and install attached debug APK (at your own risk). I currently have no way to publish the app to app store etc, so hope that @kebernet will accept the PR and publish a new version
