Introduction
------------

"bmcontrol" is a tool for interacting with MP707 (ex. BM1707) temperature
sensor boards. For more standard temperature sensors boards one can use
"digitemp" tool, which is more widely used.

This fork fixes several issues in original code.

Building on Linux
-----------------

Dependencies:
 - libusb-0.1-4
 - libusb-dev

Building:

    $ make

Installation:

    $ sudo make install


Building on Windows
-------------------

Dependencies:
 - MinGW
 - libusb-win32

Installing MinGW:
 - next packages need to be installed:
   * mingw32-base
 - add "C:\MinGW\bin" to your "PATH" environment variable

Installing libusb-win32:
 - obtain last version of "libusb-win32-bin-x.x.x.x.zip" archive from
   http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb-win32/files/libusb-win32-releases/
   (1.2.6.0 was latest when this file had written)
 - install driver like it described here:
   http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/libusb-win32/wiki
   (see "Device Driver Installation" section)
 - copy next files from obtrained archive as follows:
   * bin\x86\x86/libusb0.dll -> C:\MinGW\bin
   * include\lusb0_usb.h -> C:\MinGW\include
   * lib\gcc\libusb.a -> C:\MinGW\lib

Building:

    % mingw32-make

Installation:

    % mingw32-make install
