This project aims to analytically describe the state of rural healthcare in the state of Mississippi as of 2018 through publicly available datasets.
The goals of this project are as follows:
- Unite survey and census data for later trend analysis following 2020 census updates
- Exmaine any trends of rural/urban divides in healthcare access, quality, and related phenomena
- Overlay any policy changes tracked through legislation that may be correlated with these trends
All data referenced will be provided by the CDC, GovTrack.us, and the BRFSS National survey.
