Welcome to the Unheard GitHub repository! This repository contains the source code for the website unheard-org.netlify.app, a solution that aims to support women on socially sensitive issues. Unheard provides free health and help support through connected doctors and NGOs. The project was developed as part of Google's Solution Challenge, aligning with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Installation

To set up Unheard locally on your machine, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/mvaibhav77/unheard-main.git
    cd unheard-main
  2. Install Dependencies:

    # Assuming you have Node.js and npm installed
    npm install
  3. Configure Environment Variables:

    Unheard may require certain environment variables for configuration. Check for a .env file in the root of the project and ensure it contains the necessary variables, if any.

  4. Start the Development Server:

    For backend folder

    npm run dev

    For frontend folder

    npm start

    The application should now be running locally at http://localhost:3000.
