In light of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic I decided to create a discord bot to fetch the latest statistics about the pandemic, without the need to manually search online. The bot has been created using the COVID-19 API, I also plan on scraping the latest WHO/Ministry Of Health tweets, if possible. The bot was initially created in Polish but now supports full localization, I encourage everyone to translate it!
KoronaBot uses the Discordia package for Luvit to connect to the Discord API, therefore this will be required. Additionally, you will have to register an application on the Discord Developer Portal and obtain a bot token. In the future access to the Twitter API may also be required, not sure yet.
