This is an extended Search plugin for Virtuemart. Compared to the stock plugin it has the following improvements:
- Searching of custom fields (fields to be searched can be specified)
- Search ISBN field
- Configure what is displayed in the Subtitle
- Don't show duplicate results when a product appears in multiple categories.
- Searching product description can be disabled
- Product thumbnail can be displayed (Template needs to be adjusted)
- Download the plugin
- Install and activate it (you should disable the stock virtuemart search plugin)
- Configure it in the plugin options
