XanBit - Parcel Protocol

XanBit - Parcel Protocol builds upon the ideas introduced by Digital Matter Theory (DMT) by enabling users to dynamically inscribe attributes to Bitcoin blocks, transforming each block into a customizable piece of virtual "real estate." This protocol offers a unified open standard for ordinals metaverses, NFTs, tokens, alt-assets, inscriptions, and more.

Overview

XanBit is an Ordinals-based protocol that allows users to browse, inscribe, trade, and customize Bitcoin blocks via inscribing programmable XanBits within parcels. XanBit integrates seamlessly with the Bitmap consensus standard to authenticate ownership and inscriptions. Initially, users inscribe .xan domains that evolve into XanBits when attached to a .bitmap.

XanBit XanBit Calculation Methodology

The amount of "power" within a XanBit is calculated based on the number of transactions within the corresponding Bitcoin block multiplied by the total value of the block divided by its Bitcoin block height number.

Methodology Steps:

  1. Transaction Counting: The number of transactions within a Bitcoin block is counted. Each transaction corresponds to one XanBit.
  2. XanBit Generation: Each transaction is treated as an independent XanBit, allowing for unique attributes to be inscribed onto each one.
  3. Attribute Inscription: Owners can inscribe attributes onto each XanBit, enabling detailed customization of their virtual real estate and enabling exponential possibilities.

Transition from .xan to XanBit

  1. Initial .xan Creation:
    • Users create a .xan domain name (e.g., mattty.xan) which represents their ownership and ability to manage the content within the parcel.
  2. Attachment to .bitmap:
    • When a .xan domain is attached to a .bitmap, it evolves into a XanBit, gaining additional functionalities and capabilities provided by the Bitmap consensus standard.
    • Example: 123456.xan attached to 654321.bitmap evolves into a XanBit, unlocking enhanced features and interoperability within the XanBit ecosystem.
