Overview

This release comes with a new hash algorithm named "Cryptonight-Heavy" which is designed to avoid the coin is mined by specific-designed hardware devices, i.e. ASICs that potentially causes centralized mining and privacy leaks.

This is required a network hardfork at height# 116520. So, please update your binaries as soon as possible.

Major changes:

  • Cryptonight-Heavy hashing algorithm to replace classic Cryptonight algo
  • Various fixes to make daemon and wallet cli more stable
  • Add SSL support for deamon/wallet connection
